The session, delivered by Mr. Subhrangshu Purkayastha, Assistant Professor, introduced students to data-driven approaches in hydrology, highlighting how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can enhance rainfall\u2013runoff prediction, flood risk assessment, and water resource management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants were familiarised with core AI\/ML concepts, common algorithms, and a hands-on demonstration of logistic regression for flood probability prediction using real datasets.
