With 31 students from different semesters accompanied by faculty members and staff, the visit became much more than just attending an event\u2014it turned into a meaningful learning experience that connected classroom knowledge with the real-world importance of road safety and traffic management. The evening was thoughtfully designed to keep the audience engaged while delivering a strong social message, featuring a powerful skit based on real-life road accident situations caused by negligence, speeding, and traffic rule violations, which left everyone reflecting on the serious human cost of unsafe road behavior. Adding depth to the program, discussions by experts and stakeholders highlighted accident prevention strategies, challenges in enforcement, the role of infrastructure design, and the collective responsibility needed to create safer transportation systems, making it especially relevant for future civil engineers. The event became even more lively and memorable with performances by comedian Harpal Saikia and actor Jatin Bora, who used humor and interaction to spread awareness in an engaging way, while the musical performance by Deeplina Deka brought a vibrant and emotional close to the evening.
