As it was my first time staying in a camp environment, everything felt new, exciting, and full of learning. I got the opportunity to live in tents with fellow cadets from different colleges, and in our tent, there were around 18 students. Living together in such a disciplined environment helped me interact with new people, adjust to different situations, and build a strong sense of friendship and camaraderie. The camp was very well organized and divided into four companies\u2014Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta\u2014with each company consisting of three groups and three tents. For the girls, there was a proper leadership hierarchy, where a senior was in charge, company seniors were assigned for each company, and each tent had its own tent senior to ensure discipline, coordination, and smooth functioning. Our daily routine was strict yet engaging. The day began early in the morning with PT sessions, which helped us stay active, improve our stamina, and understand the importance of physical fitness. After PT, we attended theory classes where we learned important concepts related to NCC training, and in the afternoon, we participated in practical sessions based on what we had studied, making the learning more effective and hands-on. One of the most exciting and unforgettable moments of the camp was the firing session, where I got the opportunity to handle and fire a .22 rifle under proper supervision. It was a thrilling experience that boosted my confidence and gave me practical exposure to weapon handling. In the evenings, all cadets gathered together to sing the NCC song, which created a strong feeling of unity, discipline, and pride among us. After that, we had the fall-out, which marked the end of the day\u2019s activities. Throughout the camp, discipline and unity remained the core values that guided us. The experience not only helped me improve my physical fitness and NCC skills but also taught me valuable life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, responsibility, adjustment, and self-confidence.
