National Workshop on GIS, GeoAI and Remote Sensing 3.0

Introduction

A National Workshop on “Basics of GIS, GeoAI and Remote Sensing 3.0 using Open-Source Software” is being organized by the Center for Geoinformatics at Assam Don Bosco University. This workshop aims to provide foundational knowledge and practical exposure to modern geospatial technologies.

Objectives of the Workshop

The workshop is designed to:

Enhance practical skills through interactive learning sessions

Introduce participants to the fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), GeoAI, and Remote Sensing

Provide hands-on experience using open-source software

Demonstrate real-world applications of geospatial technologies
