The launch of the B<strong>achelor of Computer Applications (BCA)<\/strong> programme in 2015 further expanded its academic offerings, followed by the introduction of the <strong>Integrated MCA<\/strong> programme in 2024, providing students with a seamless and comprehensive pathway in advanced computing studies.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit;letter-spacing: 0px\">Originally functioning under the Department of Computer Science &amp; IT, the department became an independent entity in May 2019, enabling a more focused approach toward application-oriented learning, skill development, and industry relevance. The department emphasizes a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through modern laboratories, project-based learning, internships, and continuous skill enhancement initiatives.<\/span><\/p><p>In addition to academics, the department actively organizes workshops, seminars, technical training programmes, hackathons, and expert sessions to foster innovation and collaboration. With a forward-looking vision, it aspires to strengthen research culture, expand industry partnerships, and integrate emerging technologies, preparing students to excel in the evolving digital
