Designed to inspire innovation, teamwork, and digital storytelling, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with almost every eligible student joining the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme began with a warm welcome address by <strong>Ms. Rubi Haloi,<\/strong> Faculty Coordinator and Faculty Advisor of Management Club, who emphasized the importance of experiential learning and creative engagement in nurturing future management professionals. The participants were further inspired by an insightful motivational address from <strong>Dr. Biju Mani Das<\/strong>, Director of SOCM, who encouraged students to embrace creativity, think beyond conventional boundaries, and leverage digital media as a powerful platform for communication and expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition brought together 13 student groups from the BBA and IMBA programmes, each presenting a unique and thought-provoking reel. The entries reflected impressive originality, collaborative effort, and technical finesse, demonstrating the students&#8217; ability to communicate meaningful ideas through engaging visual content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reels were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges comprising <strong>Dr. Harjyoti Kalita,<\/strong> Head of the Department of Commerce, and <strong>Dr. Jamal Hussain,<\/strong> Assistant Professor, Department of Management. The judging was based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relevance to the Theme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity and Originality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Storytelling and Content Creation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical Quality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engagement and Overall Impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding an interactive dimension to the event, the judges engaged each team in a question-and-answer session following the screening of their reel. This provided participants with an opportunity to explain their creative concepts, production process, and the message behind their work while receiving valuable feedback from the panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The judges applauded the exceptional creativity and dedication displayed by all the participating teams. After a thorough evaluation, Group 9 emerged as the winner, earning the title of Best Reel for its outstanding creativity, compelling storytelling, and impactful presentation. The winning team received Departmental Certificates, and their award-winning reel was featured on the official Instagram handle of the Department of Management, showcasing their achievement to a wider audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reel Making Competition concluded on a high note, reaffirming the Department&#8217;s commitment to promoting experiential learning, innovation, and holistic student development. Beyond celebrating creative talent, the event strengthened students&#8217; communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and digital content creation skills, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Management Club extends its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Biju Mani Das, Head of Department Dr. Chayanika Das, the esteemed judges, faculty members,
