The workshop was conducted by Dr. Buljit Buragohain, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and noted career counsellor, who guided students on career planning, competitive examinations, higher education opportunities, skill development, communication skills, and employability. He emphasized the importance of choosing careers based on individual interests and abilities and encouraged students to improve their general knowledge through regular reading and awareness of current affairs. Dr. Buragohain also informed students about various examinations including UPSC, APSC, SSC, and banking recruitment exams, and shared details of his free weekly career counselling service.
