Introduced in 2013, The department imparts comprehensive foundation in mechanical engineering through various courses in the fields of fluid and thermal sciences, design and manufacturing. Apart from the core activities, the department also conducts regular symposiums, workshops, industrial visits and hands-on sessions to inculcate practical knowledge that aligns with the needs of the industry. The Mechanical Engineering department has 13 full-fledged, well- equipped labs including the ISO 9001:2015 certified workshop, CNC lab equipped with various CNC kits such as 2 axis, 3 axis, 4 axis Lathe and Milling machines as well as a Robotic arm. In addition, a state of the art exclusive training center of Royal Enfield is established in the School of Technology.<\/p>

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is dedicated to excellence in education, innovation, and research, preparing students to tackle engineering challenges and lead in an evolving global landscape. Courses cover a wide range of topics, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, robotics, and manufacturing, ensuring our students are well-prepared to address the diverse challenges in mechanical engineering.<\/p>

In addition to academics, our faculty actively engages in cutting-edge research, advancing fields such as renewable energy, automation, biomechanics, and advanced manufacturing.
