The theme for the year<br>2025 is \u201cVigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.\u201d The objective of the observance was to<br>create awareness among students, faculty, and staff about the importance of integrity, honesty,<br>and transparency in public life.<br>The event began with all participants taking the Integrity Pledge, reaffirming their<br>commitment to uphold ethical values and to fight against corruption. Students actively took<br>part in the quiz session conducted and also participated enthusiastically in discussions, and<br>awareness talks on ethical values and responsible citizenship. The programme also focused<br>on how every individual\u2014whether a student, teacher, or public servant\u2014plays a key role in<br>maintaining transparency and accountability in society.<br>The Head of the Department, Dr. Buljit Buragohain along with faculty members, addressed<br>the gathering, highlighting that vigilance is not just a duty of government officials but a<br>shared moral obligation of every citizen. They emphasized the need for young people to<br>practice honesty in everyday life, be responsible in their actions, and take a stand against<br>corruption and unfair practices.<br>The programme was conducted in a positive and participative spirit, with active involvement<br>from both students and staff.
