The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, organized a two-day workshop on research proposal development on 29th and 30th August 2025 for MSW students. The sessions were facilitated by faculty members, including Dr. Kheyali Roy, Dr. Lavinia Lyngdoh, Dr. Pavei Kh, Dr. Lojita Khaidem, and others, focusing on key components of research proposal writing, such as structure, research design, methods, data collection, and ethical considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop integrated conceptual inputs with practical group activities and presentations, enabling students to apply their learning in real research contexts. It strengthened their competencies in research processes, critical thinking, teamwork, and academic writing, while enhancing confidence in proposal development and presentation, with the participation of 84 3rd-semester students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
