The event was held under the theme <em>\u201cEmpower Change with Every Clean Sweep \u2013 Join Swachhata 5.0\u201d<\/em>, aligning with the goals of the <strong>Swachh Bharat Mission<\/strong> and <strong>Swachhotsav 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf3f <strong>A Collective Effort for a Cleaner Campus<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty members and students of the Department of Botany led by the Head of the Department Dr. T. Thorny Chanu actively participated in the campaign, assembling early at <strong>7:00 a.m.<\/strong> with cleaning equipment and biodegradable waste bags. The cleanliness drive focused on <strong>Blocks 1 and 4<\/strong>, key areas of academic activity within the campus. Participants enthusiastically removed litter, segregated waste, and beautified the surroundings with a strong sense of teamwork and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf0e <strong>Learning Through Action<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative not only promoted cleanliness but also reinforced the university\u2019s commitment to <strong>sustainability and environmental stewardship<\/strong>. Through active engagement, students experienced the value of civic responsibility and community service, echoing the message that <em><strong>cleanliness begins with individual action<\/strong><\/em>. Faculty members guided and motivated the participants, emphasizing that maintaining a clean and green environment is vital for the well-being of both people and the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcac <strong>Reflections and Impact<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign concluded with an informal interaction among students and faculty with refreshments served, where participants reflected on the importance of regular cleanliness drives.
