The Department of Botany proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its students, who secured First, Second, and Third positions<\/strong> in an essay writing competition organized by the Department of Zoology, Assam Don Bosco University, on the occasion of National Science Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition featured an on-the-spot essay writing format<\/strong>, challenging participants to demonstrate their critical thinking, creativity, and subject knowledge within a limited timeframe. The topic announced for the event was \u201cViksit Bharat 2047: Role of Women in Science and Innovation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are delighted to share that C. H. Sousanai<\/strong> secured the First Prize<\/strong>. The Second Prize<\/strong> was awarded to Mirjalin Engtipi<\/strong>, which was shared with another participant. The Third Prize<\/strong> was secured by Benjungtila Longchari<\/strong>, also shared with another participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our students showcased exceptional insight and articulation, highlighting the transformative role of women in shaping the future of science, technology, and innovation in India. Their essays reflected a deep understanding of gender inclusivity, scientific advancement, and the vision of a developed nation by 2047.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This outstanding accomplishment not only underscores the academic excellence and intellectual capability of the students but also brings great pride to the Department of Botany.
