The department formally started its academic journey in 2018 with an undergraduate (UG) program. The department is committed to excellence in quality teaching and innovative research offering a wide range of Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Economics as well as a well-structured PhD training program in the field of Economics. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and dedicated faculty members.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element Department of Economics offers the following Bachelors and Master degrees as well as PhD programs:<\/p><ul><li>B.A. Economics (FYUG Program as per guidelines of NEP 2020)<\/li><li>M.A. in Economics (Both 1 &amp; 2 Year Program)<\/li><li>PhD. (Doctoral program offered in wide range of fields of Economics)<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>Programme Outcomes<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h3><p>Major outcomes of the Bachelors and Masters Degree programs offered by the Department of Economics are to improve the knowledge of real-life economic systems and relate it with other disciplines generating new economic ideas and explore their future prospects and relevance.
