Roots and Runway: A Fashion Event with a Cultural Flair

The Department of English in collaboration with the K.L. Bajuria College, Meghalaya, organized the event “Roots and Runway: A Fashion Event with a Cultural Flair” on 12-09-2025. Two faculty members and five students from the Bajuria College participated in the event, along with around 300 students and faculty members from the Assam Don Bosco University. The event spectacularly fused fashion with different cultural colors of Meghalaya and also folk songs from Assam. The event was coordinated by the faculty, Ms. Dimpy Bania and Dr. Fabian Wanbok Marbaniang.
