Training Programme for NET, GATE, SLET<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The students must pass competitive exams such as NET, GATE, or SET in each subject to gain admission to prestigious higher education and research institutions. Mathematics is not any different from it. To apply to a top institute or for an academic position in colleges and universities, NET, GATE, or SET are considered essential eligibility criteria. A one-day workshop was held at the Department of Mathematics, ADBU for M. Sc. Mathematics students to provide an overview of how to prepare for and take these exams to increase the chances of passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Pritam Dahal, an Assistant Professor at Sonapur College, has been invited to serve as the workshop’s resource person on March 08, 2025. Dr. Dahal graduated and did his postgraduation from Tezpur University. He also passed the NET in 2020 and GATE in 2022. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. from Tezpur University. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We invited Dr. Nabanita Goswami, an Assistant Professor at S. B. Deorah College, to be the resource person for the workshop on 29th March 2025. Dr. Goswami completed her graduation and postgraduate studies from Gauhati University, both with first-class honours. She also passed the SLET in 2017 and completed her Ph.D. successfully in 2020. She began working as an Assistant Professor at S. B. Deorah College in 2020 and has continued to do so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
