National Conference on Mathematics and Applications in Science, Technology and Society-2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Mathematics, Assam Don Bosco University has organized a national conference on Mathematics and Applications in Science, Technology and Society-2025 on 23rd<\/sup> -24th<\/sup> October 2025. The conference was convened by Dr. Sanjoy Kalita, Dr. Sujit Talukdar and Dr. Apil Uddin Ahmed of Department of Mathematics, ADBU. It was held in hybrid mode. The offline sessions were held at auditorium, Academic Block I, Tapesia Campus. The online sessions were held through universitie’s own DBU Global Platform. During these two days we had six invited speakers (3 offline and 3 online) namely Prof. Khanin Ch. Choudhury<\/strong>, Retd. Professor Emeritus, Gauhati University, Prof. Dhiren K. Basnet<\/strong>, Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Tezpur University, Prof. Nazibuddin Ahmed<\/strong>, Prof. Adj., Cotton University, Prof. Saifur Rahman,<\/strong> Department of Mathematics, Jamia Milia Islamia, Prof. Nayandeep Deka Baruah<\/strong>, Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences at Tezpur University and Prof. Mohammad Sajid<\/strong>, Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dignitarys of the inaugural programme of NCMASTS-2025 were Fr.(Dr.) Jose Palely, Vice Chancellor, ADBU, Fr.(Dr.) Zacharias George, Registrar, ADBU, Prof. Khanin Ch. Choudhury, Retd. Professor, Gauhati University, Prof. Tarini K. Dutta, Professor, ADBU, Dr. Hemen Bharali, Director, SoFAS, Dr. Fokorul A. Mazar Bhuiya, HoD, Department of Mathematics. Inaugural event was hosted by Ms. Rashmita Baruah, Asst. Professor, Department of Mathematics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 23rd October, sessions were comprises of Invited talks by Prof. Khanin Ch. Choudhury, Prof. Dhiren K. Basnet and Prof. Nazibuddin Ahmed along with two offline technical sessions and two online technical sessions. On 24th October, all sessions were online that inludes Invited talks by Prof. Saifur Rahman, Prof. Nayandeep Deka Baruah, Prof. Mohammad Sajid along with four online technical sessions.The online sessions were chaired by Dr. Anirban Roy, CHRIST and Dr. Rajat Kanti Nath, Tezpur University, Dr. Ashish Paul, Cotton University, Dr. Debashish Dey, Dibrugarh University Dr. Dimple Jyoti Mahanta, Assam Kaziranga University and Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Debnath, Captain Williamson Sangma State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The online sessions were hosted seamlessly through the DBU Global online meeting platform of Assam Don Bosco University. The entire two-day sessions were ran exceptionally well without any technical complications, thanks to the reliability, simplicity, and efficiency of this robust digital platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
