The programme was conducted under the theme <strong>\u201cClimate Change\u201d<\/strong> and coordinated by <strong>Ms. Kamakshi Chakravarty, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight NSS volunteers from the Department of Psychology participated in the programme and engaged school students through a series of interactive activities. The event began with a <strong>plantation drive<\/strong>, emphasizing the importance of trees in combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An <strong>environmental awareness session<\/strong> was conducted using an interactive video presentation on World Environment Day and environmental conservation. This was followed by an engaging <strong>quiz competition<\/strong>, where students tested their knowledge of environmental issues and climate change. The top three performers were awarded chocolates as tokens of appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To encourage practical learning, an <strong>interactive role play on waste management<\/strong> was organized, focusing on waste segregation, recycling, and responsible disposal practices. Students actively participated in identifying and sorting different types of waste into appropriate bins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme concluded with a <strong>campus cleanliness drive<\/strong>, during which NSS volunteers and school students worked together to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative successfully enhanced environmental awareness among young learners and encouraged responsible actions towards environmental conservation, sustainable living, and community participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-grid
