Followed by lecture. Dr. Ruchi Singh delivered a compelling lecture on the intersection of caste and gender oppression in India. She emphasized the compounded system of discrimination faced by Dalit women, who experience marginalization in both caste-based and gender-based contexts. The lecture provided critical insights into how mainstream feminism often overlooks caste-based issues, while Dalit political movements frequently fail to account for gender
