The competition aimed to enhance students\u2019 critical thinking, public speaking skills, and awareness of contemporary legal and policy issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session was hosted by Dr. Chandrima Das, Assistant Professor, who briefed participants on the rules and format of the competition. The event was judged by Prof. Lukose P.J. from the Department of Social Work and Dr. Alpana Choudhury, Head of the Department of Mass Communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of six students participated across two groups, delivering insightful and well-researched arguments. Jyotsna Chaudhury, a student of MA 3rd Semester, was awarded the Best Debater for her outstanding performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event commenced with the felicitation of the judges and concluded with valuable feedback from them, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by the host.
