The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University, organised a special lecture on \u201cWriting of Research Proposal\u201d on 30 October 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The session aimed to equip postgraduate students with essential skills required for developing effective research proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lecture was delivered by Prof. A. Ibemcha Chanu, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Bodoland University, Kokrajhar. The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. Riju Sharma, followed by the lecture session. The event was coordinated by Dr. Khaidem Yaiphabi Singha under the guidance of Dr. Saurabh Chandra, Head of the Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Chanu provided in-depth insights into the structure and components of a research proposal, including framing research questions, objectives, and appropriate methodology. She also emphasized the importance of research ethics, originality, and academic integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session was interactive and engaging, with students actively participating and clarifying their doubts.
