Online Webinar on Data Acquisition, Telemetry and Avionic Systems with Special Focus on Satellite Avionics and Space Communication

The IEEE Student Branch, Assam Don Bosco University organised an online webinar on “Data Acquisition, Telemetry and Avionic Systems” on 16th January 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Sreelal S. Pillai, Senior Avionics Engineer at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who presented an insightful talk on satellite avionics, data acquisition and measurement systems, and satellite communication technologies. The webinar witnessed active participation from a diverse audience, including 7 IEEE student members and 1 IEEE professional member from Assam Don Bosco University, 1 faculty member, 18 students from ADBU, and 5 students from other universities. The event provided participants with valuable exposure to real-world applications of avionics systems and current advancements in space technology, making it a highly informative and enriching academic experience.
