About Space Science and Technology Cell<\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cThe Space Science & Technology Cell reflects our commitment to preparing future generations for frontier technologies. By empowering students and faculty to innovate in the space domain, we are nurturing scientific temper, national capability, and global relevance. Our goal is simple yet ambitious\u2014to enable young minds to look at the sky not as a limit, but as a starting point.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>

Launched in <\/span>July 2025<\/b>, the <\/span>Space Science & Technology Cell (SSTC)<\/b> is Assam Don Bosco University\u2019s bold step into the future of space exploration, innovation, and education. The Cell brings together <\/span>students, faculty, and industry experts<\/b> to imagine, design, and build technologies that reach beyond Earth.<\/span><\/p>

Built on more than a decade of faculty expertise in <\/span>Remote Sensing, GIS, and Astrophysics<\/b>, the Cell has already translated vision into action through <\/span>LACHIT-1<\/b>, a student-built satellite initiative. With industry mentorship from <\/span>Dhruv Space Pvt Ltd<\/b>, students gained hands-on experience in satellite subsystems and LEO tracking technologies – learning not just about space, but how to work with it.<\/span><\/p>

The SSTC actively trains students to <\/span>build satellites, explore space-enabled technologies, and pursue research-driven innovation<\/b>, while expanding into emerging areas such as <\/span>Space Medicine, Space-based Agriculture, and future deep-space missions<\/b>. It is a launchpad for young minds ready to shape careers in the global space sector.<\/span><\/p>

At Assam Don Bosco University, space is not a distant dream\u2014it is a <\/span>classroom, a laboratory, and a mission<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>
