ADBU Hosts Expert Talk on Energy, Engineering and Sustainability

The School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University, Azara, organized an expert talk titled “Powering India’s Growth: Energy, Engineering & Sustainability” delivered by Dr. Atul Rawat of UPES, engaging 109 students and faculty from Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The session highlighted India’s evolving energy landscape, the push toward cleaner technologies, and emerging innovations such as smart grids, AI-driven forecasting, and the Green Hydrogen Mission, while emphasizing the critical role of engineers in sustainable national development. The talk inspired students to explore energy engineering as a promising career pathway aligned with India’s future needs.
