Industrial Visit to North East Nutrients Pvt. Ltd. (ITC Factory), Mangaldai on February 14,2026

The Department of Commerce, School of Commerce and Management, Assam Don Bosco University, Azara, organized an Industrial Visit to North East Nutrients Pvt. Ltd. (ITC Factory), Mangaldai, Assam, on 14th February 2026 for the M.Com 4th Semester students.

The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to large-scale manufacturing operations and bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world industrial practices. The programme began with a detailed presentation by the company’s managerial team, highlighting the organization’s background, production processes, cost structure, quality standards, and market operations.

Students were then taken on a guided factory tour, where they observed the complete biscuit manufacturing process, including raw material handling, mixing, baking, cooling, and packaging. The visit also provided insights into automation, quality control mechanisms, workforce management, and operational efficiency.

The interaction with company officials enhanced students’ understanding of production planning, cost management, and organizational structure. Overall, the visit was highly informative and enriching, offering valuable industry exposure and strengthening students’ practical knowledge of production and operations management.
