Inauguration of Wall Magazine – Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce inaugurated its Wall Magazine on 6th May 2026 at 1:00 PM in the department corridor, opposite the HOD’s cabin. The magazine was formally inaugurated by Prof. Bijumani Das, Director of SOCM, in the presence of Dr. Harjyoti Kalita (HOD, Commerce), Dr. Chayanika Das (HOD, Management), Dr. Bikash Agarwal (Administrative Officer), along with the faculty members and students of the commerce department.

Prof. Bijumani Das appreciated the initiative of the department, highlighting its importance in fostering creativity and academic expression among students. Dr. Harjyoti Kalita , Dr. Chayanika Das and Dr.Vikash Agarwal also commended the effort and encouraged students to ensure the continuity of the Wall Magazine as an ongoing activity rather than a one-time effort. Dr.Vikash Agarwal further assured full administrative support for such creative initiatives in the future.

The event marked a significant step towards promoting student engagement, creativity, and collaborative learning within the department.
