NIYUKTI 2026 – ADBU Mock Interview Challenge

The Commerce Club, Department of Commerce, Assam Don Bosco University successfully conducted “NIYUKTI 2026 – ADBU Mock Interview Challenge”, on 9th May,2026 an engaging and career-oriented initiative aimed at preparing students for real-world recruitment processes. Around 35 students from the programmes of B.Com (Honours), B.Com (Business Analytics), and M.Com actively participated in the event with great enthusiasm and professionalism.

The programme provided the participants with practical exposure to the corporate recruitment process through Mock Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Students gained valuable hands-on experience regarding how group discussions and interviews are conducted in real-life professional settings, thereby helping them build confidence, communication skills, analytical thinking, and interview etiquette.

The event was evaluated by esteemed judges from both the Department of Commerce and the Department of Management, who shared insightful observations, constructive feedback, and practical guidance on the best practices and common mistakes to avoid during GDs and PIs. Their valuable suggestions helped the participants understand the expectations of recruiters and the importance of professional presentation and communication.

The students expressed great satisfaction and enthusiasm towards the learning experience and appreciated the efforts of the judges and coordinators for organizing such an interactive and enriching event. The programme concluded on a positive note, with many participants expressing keen interest in taking part in similar initiatives in the future.
