Department of Commerce Hosts Skill-Based Workshop on Accounting & Finance Fundamentals – Basics to Brilliance

The Department of Commerce, Assam Don Bosco University, in collaboration with SMA Institute, organized a skill-based workshop titled “Accounting & Finance Fundamentals – Basics to Brilliance” on 1 June 2026.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Nidhi Bohra and Mr. Shubham Singhal, CMA, who introduced students to the fundamentals of accounting, financial management, and professional opportunities through the FMAA certification. The interactive sessions enhanced students’ understanding of key accounting concepts and career prospects in the finance sector.

The programme provided participants with valuable industry insights and encouraged them to pursue professional qualifications alongside their academic studies.
