Dept of Computer Applications Awarded Assam Pollution Control Board Grant for AI and GIS Air Quality Monitoring Project

The Dept of Computer Applications is pleased to announce the sanctioning of a research project by the Assam Pollution Control Board titled “Developing an AI Model and GIS-Enabled Mapping for Monitoring of Air Pollution Hotspots in North Guwahati, Assam.” The project aims to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies to identify, analyse, and map air pollution hotspots, supporting data-driven environmental monitoring and informed decision-making for improved air quality management in the region.
Sanctioned Amount: ₹5,05,000
