ENAJORI 2.0(Showcasing the Ethnic-Inclusiveness of North-East)

On May 8, 2025, the Department of Mathematics at Assam Don Bosco University, Sonapur, Guwahati, Assam, organized the second edition of its cultural initiative titled “Enajori 2.0: Showcasing the Ethnic-Inclusiveness of North-East”, held under the banner of Viksit Bharat @2047, the event celebrated the diverse cultural identities of the North-Eastern states, promoting unity, empathy, and mutual respect among various communities.

The occasion was graced by Dr. Prasanta Kumar Choudhury, Director of the School of Life Sciences, who honored the event with his presence. In his address, Dr. Choudhury highlighted the significance of cultural inclusiveness in fostering national harmony and applauded the students for their dynamic participation and cultural expression.

The event featured a rich lineup of performances including traditional dances, folk songs, and cultural displays representing the heritage of the ‘Seven Sisters’. The program underscored the department’s commitment to fostering cultural appreciation and inclusivity within the academic environment.

A series of competitions – folk singing, dance, and cultural presentations – allowed students from across various schools of the university to showcase their ethnic roots and artistic talents. The event drew a large and appreciative audience, creating an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, extending gratitude to Dr. Choudhury, university leadership, faculty mentors, organizing committee members, and all student participants for making ENAJORI 2.0 a resounding success.
