UJJEEVAN 2.0

The Department of Mathematics, Assam Don Bosco University, organized a creative and thought-provoking programme titled “Ujjeevan” on 17th October 2025 at the Atrium, Block 1, Tapesia Campus. The event was beautifully conceptualized around the theme “Go Green, Go Ecofriendly”, highlighting the importance of environmental awareness, sustainability, and collective responsibility toward a greener planet.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sujit Talukdar, Department of Mathematics, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and guests. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Hemen Bharali, Director, School of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, ADBU, who, in his inaugural address, emphasized the urgent need to adopt eco-friendly habits in daily life and encouraged students to be active agents of environmental conservation.

The day’s proceedings included two different competitions namely Rangoli Making competition and Diya Decoration Competition among the students. The creative expressions and performances showcased the students’ awareness and concern for the environment.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Director, faculty members, and participants for their valuable contributions and active involvement in making the event a success.
