National Science Day Webinar on “International Year on Quantum Science and Technology 2025” (IYQST-2025)

The Department of Physics, Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), with Physik Club, organized a webinar on “International Year on Quantum Science and Technology-2025” on National Science Day, 7th March, 2025. The main objectives of IYQST-2025 were to celebrate the contributions of quantum science to technological progress and raise awareness of its importance for sustainable development. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of quantum mechanics and its application to various fields such as quantum computation, quantum teleportation, quantum communication, and quantum sensing. Dr. S. K. Noor Alam, Assistant Professor, Aligarh Muslim University, and Dr. Debmalya Das, Assistant Professor, Università degli Studi di Bari, Italy, were invited to deliver the webinar talks on the theme of the International Year on Quantum Science and Technology.
