Galaxies Across Cosmic Time: From Observations to Data Analysis

A two-day workshop titled “Galaxies Across Cosmic Time: From Observations to Data Analysis” was organized by the Astronomy Club, Department of Physics, Assam Don Bosco University, on 21–22 January 2026. The workshop aimed to provide participants with an overview of galaxy formation and evolution across cosmic time, with emphasis on observational techniques and data analysis methods used in modern astrophysics.

The sessions were conducted by Dr. Anshuman Borgohain, Postdoctoral Fellow, IUCAA, Pune. The workshop featured expert lectures and interactive discussions, offering participants valuable insights into contemporary research in extragalactic astronomy.
