RESEARCH SEMINAR

Sakhi Garga, a B.Sc. Physics (Hons.) student of Assam Don Bosco University, completed her research internship at the Bose Institute, Kolkata, in the Department of Physical Sciences under the guidance of Dr. Saikat Biswas during the summer break. The internship was held from 4th June 2025 to 21st June 2025. Her research was primarily in the field of High-Energy Physics, with a specific focus on the upcoming accelerator facility FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research). Her project is entitled “Detectors for Heavy Ion Collision”, which involves theoretical, experimental, and computational aspects of research. Recently, she has presented her work in the Student Research Seminar series organized by the Department of Physics, ADBU.
