Sustainable Water Solutions: Civil Engineers Learn Desalination at ADBU

The Department of Civil Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University, organised an invited talk on “Introduction to Desalination Technologies for Sustainable Water Supply” on 5th February 2025 at the School of Technology Conference Hall. Delivered by Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Deka, Assistant Professor, Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee, the session highlighted the significance of water resources, impurities in water, advanced wastewater treatment methods, and the role of membranes in ensuring sustainable supply. Coordinated by Dr. Chinumani Choudhury, the event saw active participation from 63 students and faculty, offering valuable insights into future-ready water management practices.
