Healthy Minds, Better Learning: Civil Engineering Students Lead Morning Assembly Presentation

Students of the 7th Semester B.Tech Civil Engineering, Clarissa Rhya Sohtun, Gargi Priyadarshini Kashyap, and Kerie Ibalucky Syndor, presented an awareness session on “Mental Wellness: Building a Healthy Mind for Academic Success” during the Morning Assembly on 20 August 2026. The presentation highlighted the importance of mental well-being in supporting learning, concentration, resilience and confidence, while emphasizing that academic success is strengthened when well-being is treated as an integral part of the study process. The students also addressed common sources and signs of academic stress, the importance of maintaining healthy daily routines, effective study habits, stress-management strategies, self-compassion and the value of staying connected with friends, family and support systems. The session concluded with the message that sustainable academic success is built through a balanced combination of rest, routine, focus, connection and support, encouraging students to give due importance to their mental wellness alongside their academic responsibilities.
