The School of Commerce and Management successfully organized a Research Scholars’ Meet on 14th May 2026 at the Old Conference Hall with the objective of guiding, motivating, and strengthening the academic and research capabilities of PhD scholars.
The programme commenced with an inspiring address by Pro Vice Chancellor Joseph Nellanatt, who invoked God’s blessings and shared words of encouragement with the scholars and faculty members. This was followed by insightful addresses from SOCM Director Prof.Biju Mani Das and CDOE Director Dr.Pankaj Kumar Sharma. The Heads of the Departments also addressed the gathering and motivated the scholars towards academic excellence and meaningful research.
The event included the introduction of faculty members, supervisors, and research scholars, creating an interactive academic environment for collaboration and discussion. Several technical sessions were conducted on important aspects of research methodology and academic writing. Eminent resource persons delivered sessions on the significance of literature review, interdisciplinary research, and the use of LaTeX in thesis writing, providing valuable insights to the participants.
The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial, encouraging scholarly engagement, research orientation, and academic growth among the participants.
