
Happy to inform that a patent titled “An IoT-Based Modular System for Yak Health Monitoring, Stress Prediction, and Geo-Fencing in High-Altitude Regions” has been published in The Patent Office Journal No. 13/2026 dated 27/03/2026.
This is an interdisciplinary utility/invention patent involving the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University, in collaboration with ICAR–National Research Centre on Yak, Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh. This achievement stands as an effective outcome of the MoU signed between Assam Don Bosco University and ICAR–NRC on Yak, and reflects the strength of this collaborative research initiative.
