The Department of Botany, Assam Don Bosco University, celebrated World Habitat Day 2025 under the global theme “Urban Crisis Response.” Organized by the Biowizard Club, the event aimed to raise awareness about sustainable urban development and biodiversity conservation. Students and faculty participated in a campus-based plant collection and documentation activity, gaining hands-on experience in herbarium techniques and ecological data recording. The celebration highlighted the importance of connecting academic learning with environmental action, reinforcing the department’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
