The Department of Botany, one of the newly established departments of Assam Don Bosco University, was founded in July 2019 under the School of Life Sciences. The department commenced its academic journey with its first batch comprising thirteen undergraduate students and thirty-seven postgraduate students. At present, the department offers B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programmes, and continues to expand its academic and research excellence.
