Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICAR–Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Zone VI, Kahikuchi, Guwahati, on 28th October 2024.
The purpose of this MoU is to promote academic cooperation and collaborative activities in the areas of agricultural research, extension education, technology transfer, and knowledge sharing. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to strengthen training, research, internships, and outreach programmes related to agricultural and allied sectors.
Under the agreement, students and faculty members will have opportunities for:
- Training and internship programmes
- Joint research and extension activities
- Organization of workshops, seminars, and conferences
- Technology dissemination and innovation initiatives
The MoU will remain valid for five years and may be extended with mutual consent. The Department of Botany at ADBU will coordinate activities under this collaboration, with Dr. Raj Kumar Pegu serving as the Nodal Officer from the University side.
This partnership reflects ADBU’s commitment to academic excellence, research collaboration, and sustainable agricultural development in the North Eastern region.
