About the Department
The Department of Comparative Religion at the university was established with an aim to mould graduates who understand and appreciate various religious beliefs in the world through their study of world religions and how these religions shaped our shared history and currents events. Through comparative analysis and knowledge of ethical standards and practices of these religions will enable the students to possess open mindedness knowing that people from different beliefs and backgrounds can also be right. Through research in this area, students will engage in informed discussions and decision making towards sustainable solutions to today’s pressing religious issues in the world.
