“Border Communities and Ethnic Belonging Across India-Myanmar Border”

On 20^th March 2025, the Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University organized an online distinguished lecture series. The lecture, titled “Border Communities and Ethnic Belonging Across India-Myanmar Border,” was delivered by esteemed Professor V. Bijukumar, Chairperson, JNU, New Delhi. The event was graced by Ms. Baiaiphyrnai Nongkhlaw, who introduced the session. Dr. Santhosh Juvvaka, the program coordinator, delivered the welcome note and also provided a brief introduction to the theme of the lecture and the speaker. The session began with opening remarks from Professor. (Fr) James Chacko, Dy. Registrar & Director, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, who welcomed everyone and set the stage for the lecture.
