Research Scholar’s Seminar

The Research Scholars’ Seminar on Tribal Governance in North East India: Perseverance and Challenges was a two-day event held on October 29-30, 2024, at Assam Don Bosco University Tapesia Campus, organized by the Department of Public Administration, the seminar provided a platform for in-depth discussions on the frameworks, processes, and practices of tribal governance in the region. The event began with a welcome address, followed by thematic introductions by Dr. Santhosh J., the Seminar Coordinator. Dr. Jose Palely, Vice Chancellor, delivered a special address, expressing his happiness and pride in witnessing the department host its first-ever seminar, which is also one of the first of its kind in the university. He extended his congratulations to the department for their pioneering efforts and encouraged them to continue their commendable work. Dr. Khaidem Yaipabi Singha, the Seminar Convener, concluded the inaugural session with a vote of thanks.
