Department of Public Administration organized National Voter’s Day Celebration 2025 on January 25, 2025, Block V from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The National Voter’s Day 2025 event was organized to promote active electoral participation and emphasize the importance of voting. The event’s theme was aligned with the 2024 theme, “Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure,” underlining the significance of exercising one’s right to vote with confidence and enthusiasm.
The event began with an introduction by Dr Santhosh J. coordinator, who in his presentation discussed the history and role of the election commission of India in conducting free and fair elections. This was motional and critical understanding of the ECI. He inspired the students to take active part in election process. Followed by the documentary screening on the theme prepared by the students of the department and their presentations on the significance of the day. Prof. Riju Sharma (HoD, Dept. of Public Administration), in her address focused on the importance of voting and democratic participation and appreciated the students for their initiative. The faculty members of the department and students took active part.
