World Frog Day Celebration

The Department of Zoology, Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia, in collaboration with the Eco Club, organized a program to celebrate World Frog Day on 20th March 2026. The event was conducted with the objective of creating awareness about amphibians and encouraging interest in anuran research among students. The main segment of the program consisted of presentations delivered by PhD scholars on various aspects of Anuran research. A total of five presentations were conducted and each presentation contributed to a better understanding of amphibians from both field and laboratory perspectives. The program not only enhanced awareness about amphibians but also encouraged students to explore research opportunities in this field.
