From Ideas to Impact

The Department of Civil Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University, in collaboration with the IEI Students’ Chapter, hosted a dynamic workshop on “Innovate for Impact: An Introduction to Design Thinking and Social Innovation” on 13th May 2025 at the Azara Campus. Led by expert Ms. Richa Parasher, the session introduced 92 enthusiastic participants to the five stages of design thinking through interactive activities, team brainstorming, and hands-on ideation. The workshop not only sparked creativity and problem-solving skills but also inspired students to view engineering as a pathway to sustainable and socially impactful innovation.
