Assam Don Bosco University Advances Quality Standards through NABL Training

A one-day NABL Accreditation Workshop was conducted at the School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University, on 28 January 2026 to enhance awareness of laboratory accreditation standards and quality assurance practices. The programme, coordinated by Prof. Manoranjan Kalita, Director, ADBUSOT, witnessed the participation of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Heads of Departments, faculty laboratory in-charges, and laboratory staff from science and engineering disciplines.

The session, led by Mr. Ashutosh Debnath of the Quality Council of India, highlighted the role of the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in ensuring reliable testing, improved research quality, and global recognition of laboratory results. Interactive discussions on accreditation procedures, documentation, and quality management practices enriched the participants’ understanding and reinforced the university’s commitment to excellence in laboratory-based education and research.
