Mr. Subhrangshu Purkayastha Publishes Doctoral Research on Bluff-Body Wake Dynamics

The Department of Civil Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University, is pleased to share a significant research achievement of Mr. Subhrangshu Purkayastha, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, whose research paper titled “Near-Onset Signal Analysis of Wake Transition Past a Sharp-Nose Sharp-Base Bluff Body” has been published in the Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series A, Springer Nature. The paper, co-authored with Dr. Mohammad Saud Afzal, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kharagpur, forms part of Mr. Purkayastha’s PhD research. The study contributes to a better understanding of fluid-flow behaviour around engineered structures and reflects his continued dedication to academic research.
