Sustainable Construction in Focus: ADBU Civil Students at S.T.D Brick Company

The Department of Civil Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University, organised a field visit to S.T.D Brick Company, Azara on 27th May 2025 for 4th semester B.Tech students. Coordinated by Dr. Pori Das, the visit introduced students to modern manufacturing techniques of green fly ash bricks, precast blocks, and interlocking units. Mr. Reitesh Karmachandani, CEO of S.T.D Brick Company, explained the processes of material selection, machinery operation, and quality control, giving students valuable insights into sustainable construction practices.
