Essay & Poster Competition – Swachhta Pakhwada

The Department of Management at Assam Don Bosco University organized an Essay and Poster
Competition on 19th September 2025, as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations. The initiative
aimed to encourage students to contribute to the Swachhta Abhiyan (Cleanliness Drive) by
showcasing their creativity and awareness on topics related to cleanliness, hygiene, and
sustainability.
This competition was open to students from the following programs:

• BBA 1
• Integrated MBA 1
• BBA 3
• Integrated MBA 3
• BBA 5
  The competition saw active participation from students, and the event was a great success in terms
  of student engagement, creativity, and the quality of submissions.
  Essay Competition
  Topics:

1. From Waste to Wealth: How Cleanliness Fuels Sustainability
2. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH): A Pathway to Dignity
   Participation Details:

• A total of 13 essays were submitted by students, all adhering to the given themes.
• The essays were handwritten and ranged from 1,000 to 1,200 words, as per the competition
  guidelines.
• The submissions were in English, Hindi, and Assamese, reflecting the linguistic diversity of
  the students.
